Stream Teams United is currently sponsoring an AmeriCorps project, with the goal of expanding water education programs to benefit low-income youth and their communities. AmeriCorps position opportunities are in Kansas City, Columbia, St. Louis, Springfield, St. James, Eminence, and Howardville. Member positions are for a 12-month term with option to stay additional years. AmeriCorps benefits include a living allowance, end-of-service award, and Non-Competitive Eligibility for employment with federal agencies. Each year, the agency places more than 200,000 AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in intensive service roles; and empowers millions more to serve as long-term, short-term, or one-time volunteers. There are currently no open positions. We anticipate having 2-4 openings in 2025. Check back for more details. The current bi-weekly stipend of AmeriCorps members in the VISTA program is $957.45.
