Stream Teams United is currently sponsoring an AmeriCorps project, with the goal of expanding water education programs to benefit low-income youth and their communities. AmeriCorps position opportunities are in Kansas City, Columbia, St. Louis, Springfield, St. James, Eminence, and Howardville. Member positions are for a 12-month term with option to stay additional years. AmeriCorps benefits include a living allowance, end-of-service award, and Non-Competitive Eligibility for employment with federal agencies. There are currently openings at Maramec Spring Park near St. James, MO and at Earth's Classroom near Rosebud, MO. We anticipate having 4-6 more openings in 2026. The current bi-weekly stipend of AmeriCorps members in the VISTA program is $957.45.
