The gold grapevine holds 2 bezel set champagne/chocolate diamonds with a total ct. weight of .44. Inspiration came from the beautiful wineries that are found on the Missouri River across our great state. Valued at $2,000 by the designer, this one-of-a-kind Mississippi River Pearl necklace will be offered in our year-end 2019 raffle.

This beautiful artisan bowl required 42 hours of labor to create.

Jill Thompson - Jill has generously donated a piece of her pottery which depicts, unsurprisingly, a tree inside her pottery bowl. Jill loves plants and is the president of “Flowers by Jill, Inc.”, an interior plant maintenance company. Though busy with her thriving plant business, Jill has made time to return to her love of creating art using her hands and clay. Jill’s pottery is utile, decorative, and on occasion, whimsical. She was thrilled to donate to the Stream Team celebration.
Mike Short - Mike has been turning bowls and woodcarving for several years. Some of his amazing caricature carvings were recently on display at the Gallery Zeke in Steelville, MO. as part of the gallery’s ‘Into the Woods III’ exhibition. In 2008 Mike joined a woodworking club and started learning the art of woodturning. Since then he has done many simple pieces to complex segmented wood pieces. In 2010 a friend peaked his interest in woodcarving. He joined a wood-carving club and received both help and encouragement. He compares photos of his work year-to-year to see how has grown in his abilities in woodcrafting.
Mike has chosen to share with us hand-carved Christmas Ornaments from his collection of wood carvings.
