Stream Teams United receives grant from L-A-D Foundation for vehicle purchase for use in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways

A big Missouri Stream Team Coalition THANK YOU to the generous donors who contributed to the purchase of our first organization vehicle! With grant support from the L-A-D Foundation and the Conservation Foundation of Missouri Charitable Trust, donations from individuals, and with the generous matching donation from the Holton family, we recently purchased this eight passenger Ford Expedition. The vehicle will be used to transport supplies and gear to Stream Teams United education and stewardship events, with a primary focus of assisting with litter pick-up events in the Scenic Rivers region of the Missouri Ozarks.

Thank you to everyone who provided support to help build the Stream Teams United fleet! 

In 2025, Stream Teams United mobilized our team for four cleanups in the Ozark National Scenic Riverways (2 on the Current River and 2 on the Jacks Fork River).  We look forward to leading and assisting with more cleanup and educational events in Missouri's scenic rivers region in 2026 and beyond!
